H.O.F. – Video coverage [EPMD & Keith Murray Concert]

I got to interview all the artist’s, other special guest appearances, DJ’s, some fans, and some of the bartenders. It was pretty fun meeting all the people and getting to go backstage and watch their pre performance routine and getting all amped up before they walk out.

I got to go on stage while they were performing and dance. It was quite interesting to see everything from their perspective. I met a lot of people that night and afterward we all hung out and then went over to IHOP and ate breakfast in the middle of the night!

Studio 1608 “Erotica”

     This was a unique photoshoot and filming as it was going to be used for art. I did all these interesting posses on a plain white seamless backdrop, which the artist then goes over and draws in the background. The filming was for an interactive piece, which would loop with another model dong the same thing.

     I was pretty interested in seeing what the final pieces would look like. It took a few weeks till the gallery was ready and the exhibit was announced. It was a little different than what I expected, but it was so cool and conceptual and so many people were there looking at it all. Haha, I can now say “my body is a work of art” and it was on display in an art gallery!

     It was pretty cool to see all these people looking and analyzing all these pieces hung all over the walls discussing them. It was fun to watch some people’s expressions as they wondered “is that her?” and then do a double take to try and figure it out. Some figured me out and would just say “nice work” or “wow your pretty flexible!” The best one was when someone asked if I was double jointed, which I’m not!

     I think people realized it once the photographer, artist, the other model, and I started taking pictures together in front of the pieces and I was introduced as “the model.” Then we moved on up stairs where there was another level of the gallery as well as the installation piece with the video clips. Up here it was a bit more relaxed as the wine flowed and more about celebrating the success of the gallery and partying after a bit. Some people started dancing and getting a little to loose and free so they decided to take it to a club around the corner for the after party. It was a long drive home, so it was time for me to head back.
